Mr Jeremy, 33, spent £10,000 buying the black Hummer H2 and with the help from a team of mechanics, dismantled the vehicle and made it into an engine-less carriage.
"I came up with the idea during the global economic melt-down," he said.
"I thought these hummers are the pinnacle of consumerism and a powerful status symbol, so what will happen when they are no longer sustainable?"
The hefty 1,800lb cart made a public debut in New York Central Park, pulled by2 white horses aptly named Diesel and Duke which you can see a video of here:

So what do we think of Volkswagen E-Bugster? Well, it's a completely new concept that's based on the latest version of VW's iconic Beetle. And it's electric. So far so good! For an electric car it's pretty nippy with an electric motor giving 114 horsepower (85 kW) and 199 pound-feet of torque.
Range is decent too which is detailed at about 100 miles courtesy of a 695-pound lithium ion battery pack that sites both under the rear seats and trunk floor. A charging port is located under the VW logo at the car's nose, and, depending on the charger being used, an 80% charge can happen in just 30 minutes.
But the VW E-Bugster's coolest styling element we think is its chopped roof. Also we love the 20-inch alloy wheels (see picture below) which remind us a bit of the Fuchs wheels seen on many retro Beetles all around the country.

Starting in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina, the race includes hostile sand dunes, rocks, mud, camel grass and other treacherous terrain. The rally finishes in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
The Dakar Rally has 3 main competitive classes: 1. Truck Class (vehicles weighing more than 3,500 kg)
2. Car Class (vehicles weighing less than 3,500 kg)
3. Moto / Motorcycle Class (including a sub-class for quads)
The current leader of the moto (motorcycle) class is 2010 winner Cyril Despres. The French rider holds the narrowest of leads over reigning Dakar champion Marc Coma. The Red Bull riders, both 3-time winners are set for an epic battle over the remaining stages. When you're riding the fastest street bike on the road, most cars just fade into the distance. Then again, most cars don't have over 1,000 horsepower like the Bugatti Veyron.
As fast as the BMW may be on the street, it can't match the Bugatti for sheer presence on the road.

Let's cut to the chase...excuse the pun! In a straight line the car and bike are neck and neck off the start and up to around 140 mph. However past 140mph, the Bugatti clears off into some netherworld of top speed where not even MotoGP bikes dare not venture.

Quarter-mile in 10.2 seconds.
Car:

The 100 mph mark is reached in 5.5 seconds and of course the car doesn’t run out of steam until you get to 253 mph which is how the car wins.
We just wonder what the motorbike insurance cost would be on a BMW S1000RR vs Bugatti Veyron car insurance...we're guessing that insuring a Veyron which cost a whole lot more due to the simple fact that the Veyron costs $1.3 million more than the BMW S1000RR. If anyone reading this happens to own one of these cool vehicles and know the approx insurance per year, please comment below as we are dying to find out the cost.

One explanation is that the term is a contraction of 'hot roadster' meaning a roadster that was modified for speed. A camshaft designed to produce more power is sometimes call a "hot stick" or, here, a "hot rod". Roadsters were the cars of choice because they were light. 14 cool cars including 8 Ferraris, 3 Mercedes Benz and a Lamborghini were involved in a pile-up in Japan yesterday. Some hefty car insurance claims on the way!
The accident involved a group of super cars travelling to Hiroshima when one of the Ferraris lost control and caused the crash, according to Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun. Witnesses claimed that the group of luxury cars were travelling over the road's speed limit.
"The whole group of them were going 140-160 kilometres per hour (85-100mph) and then one went into a spin and all the others got pulled into that," an eyewitness said.
The speed limit on the highway was 80 kilometres per hour (50mph).
Fortunately no-one was seriously hurt although 10 people were treated for minor injuries in a crash involving £2.5m worth of luxury cars.
The road was shut for over six hours due to the pile-up as police cleaned up the pieces of the wrecked vehicles.
One of the greatest things about living in our current age is our ability to modify and customize almost everything that we purchase. This is true whether or not we are buying a pair of shoes, or a vehicle, and the Lexus body kit is a perfect example.

There was cool car news today about speculation of an electric-powered DeLorean coming in 2013. It's in part thanks to the eponymously dubbed DeLorean Motor Company of Texas (not to be confused with long defunct DMC). DeLorean took to its blog this weekend announcing a partnership with Epic EV to make this "all-electric" DMC-12 a reality.
The DeLorean DMC-12 EV will have a cool 260 horsepower and a maximum speed of 125mph. It's expected to cost about six-figures, which sadly won't include a Flux Capacitor, but you could always run the app for that with its in-console iPhone holster. The DMC-12 EV is set to be released in 2013.
We love cool cars and that includes concept cars. This concept is by far the coolest Ferrari concept car from designers who've never worked in the design department of Ferrari. This extraordinarily beautiful super car is called Ferrari 612 GTO. The creator of this concept is Sasha Selipanov from Berlin, Germany. Check it out!
We're always on the look out for cool design when it comes to cars and so this digital art competition from Nissan is right up our street. Called Infiniti, it's Nissan's luxury and performance car arm to their business, based around high performance and high style in all the range. The digital art competition is in conjunction with cool design magazine designboom. This competition was the first ever 'free to enter' international digital art competition of it's type. The competition invited entrants to design a sculpture, projection or installation that would be entered into the competition and eventually whittled down to 6 finalists which are to be shown in Infiniti showrooms around the country. The bespoke boutique-hotel-style Infiniti Centre Stockport (Manchester, UK) is the latest of these showrooms and is in the middle of a week long promotion inviting people to come along and look at the art works as well as the cool cars.
With cool art and high performance cars in one place - there's something for everyone there! The art works include the work of ShinjiNukumi of Japan, entitled ‘Infiniti Passion’ – a design which expresses the potential of Infiniti cars from the inside rather than from the outside.
Crystalline DNA
Making his debut in the sphere of automotive-based art, BranoHlavac from Slovakia has created a series of four visuals which look at the manufacturing and design of Infiniti’s models utilising the elements of crystal, the power of shape and DNA. In his designs, he highlights the importance of creativity and the automaker making their own mark, putting to one side the act of selling cars.
Value Added
The curvaceous sculpture by Slovak designers JurajRattaj and Jan Ziska explores the idea of creating a parking space which projects the correct image of a luxury car such as an Infiniti, whilst adding value as a piece of art in a public place rather than merely being confined to the function of hosting a vehicle.
Highway of Light
This is a digital animation conceived by Bob Trempe and Roman Torres of the USA to reflect the powerful and distinct “character lines” used in the design of every Infiniti model. The digital animation communicates the lines of Infiniti brand by combining a silhouette of a car and the moving light streaks of fast moving vehicles on a highway.
Infiniti Passion
The brainchild of Japanese artist Nukumi Shinji and NBBR, “Infiniti Passion” is composed of a series of projections on to an Infiniti model which focuses on the ‘inner’ dimension of the car in order to be able to see the potential of the marque.
Presence
The piece designed by Sanchit Sawaria and Palash Singh looks at the importance of performance and a car which creates an experience for the user beyond driving. The art does not reveal the mechanics which made the visual possible, but is the result of the discreet presence of technology such as streaks of light generated by fast moving cars.
Synthesised by Nature
Inspired by light, nature, and geometry, the artwork created by Englishman Jackson Tayler, combines three half cubes and projections to create the journey of a streak of light through an autonomous and sophisticated world. The free-flowing movements of the beam, which guide the viewer through the artwork, incorporate elements of ballet, and reflect the power of an infiniti’s engine and the elegance of the cars’ curves.
The world’s oldest car 'La Marquise' sold for auction yesterday for a cool $4.6 million. The 1884 De Dion Bouton Et Trépardoux was originally estimated to be worth approx $2 million.Cool cars don't always have to be new super cars!
The 3-wheeled water powered car, known as ”La Marquise,” predates the “birth of the automobile,” when Karl Benz was granted the first patents to build a gasoline-powered car in 1886. La Marquise, which was officially billed as the “oldest running motor car,” could carry four people at a speed of 37 mph.
Only 20 “La Marquise” cars were produced and only 6 are left in existence. The one that just sold at auction was also in the world’s first automobile race in 1887.
In order to drive the world’s oldest car, you had to heat the water reservoir with coal, wood, or paper for about a half an hour before enough steam was built up to propel the car. The recent buyer, who decided to stay anonymous, is only the fifth person to own the car in the last 127 years. The car was last sold in 2007 for $3.5 million.
